Seven people have been killed in a mass shooting at two locations near San Francisco, just days after 11 died in a dance hall massacre in southern California.
Seven dead in new California shootings
Seven people have been killed in two related shootings at a mushroom farm and a trucking firm in a coastal community south of San Francisco, and a suspect is in custody, officials say.
Four people were killed at the farm on Monday and three at the trucking business on the outskirts of Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors President Dave Pine says.
It wasn’t immediately clear how the locations were connected.
California state senator Josh Becker, who represents the area, said people were killed in separate shootings.
